Where we work
Our own crews, the Peninsula and the Bay Area
Our shop is at 542 El Camino Real in San Carlos, and that address is the reason we cover the towns we cover. San Carlos sits in the middle of San Mateo County, with US 101 out on the bay side, Interstate 280 running along the hills to the west, and El Camino Real and the Caltrain line threading the length of the Peninsula in between. Every town on this page is a short run north or south on one of those three roads, and the same roads carry us on into Santa Clara County and over to parts of the East Bay.
That matters more than it sounds. A crew that is close gets the base rock delivered early, keeps the job moving through the day and is back the next morning without half the morning lost to traffic. It also means we can come back and look at something years later, which is what a 20 year warranty is worth.
It is the same paver installers based in San Carlos in every town on the list, our own demolition crew and our own three install crews, never a subcontractor: the same compacted base, the same screeded bedding layer, the same edge restraint and the same joint sand, all built to ICPI specification. We only work in interlocking pavers and natural stone, so that is the one thing we do all day. Pick your town below, or call for a arrange a free visit and tell us where you are.

Straight answers about paver installation on the Peninsula
Which towns do you cover?
San Carlos is home, and we work Belmont, Redwood City, San Mateo, Burlingame, Hillsborough, Menlo Park and Atherton all the time. We cover San Mateo County, Santa Clara County and parts of the East Bay, with jobs in Foster City, Los Altos, Pacifica and Fremont, so wherever you are around the bay, call and ask.
Do you charge more for a town further from San Carlos?
No. The estimate covers the job wherever you are inside our service area, and coming out to look at it is free. If a property is genuinely too far for us to look after it properly over the life of the warranty, we will say so instead of pricing it and hoping.
Who actually turns up to build my job?
Our own people. We are a family run paver company with a demolition crew and three install crews, all in lime green shirts, all on our own equipment. We do not hand your job to a subcontractor, and Todd is on the job, not on a phone in another state.
Do you pour concrete or lay asphalt?
No. We only work in interlocking pavers and natural stone. That is not a limitation we apologize for: a paver field can be lifted and reset if anything ever moves under it, and a slab cannot. Plenty of our jobs start with taking out a cracked slab.
My town is not on the list. Can you still come out?
Probably. The seven towns below are where we are most weeks, but the Peninsula is a small place and we go where the work is. Call the office, tell us the address, and you will get a straight answer about coverage the same day.
Do you deal with permits and design review?
Some towns here run a design or planning review before hardscape work starts, and a few also look closely at drainage and at protected trees. We will tell you at the estimate whether your job is likely to need review, and we build to ICPI specification so the work stands up to it.
